What is PII detection and why does it matter?

PII detection finds personally identifiable information (names, emails, IDs, location data) in your datasets. Masking it properly is required by GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws.

Is Amaze GDPR / RODO compliant?

Yes. Our masking rules are mapped to GDPR Article 6 and pseudonymization best practices. We also help you generate audit reports for your DPO.

Does my data ever leave my machine?

No. Every tier runs locally on your own machine. Enterprise adds a self-hosted team deployment and a local API, so your data never leaves your environment.

What data sources do you support?

Files (CSV, JSON, PDF, DOCX, XLSX) processed locally on your machine. Self-hosted enterprise builds can also connect to your own databases.

How long do you store anonymized data?

Amaze runs on your device and does not send your data anywhere, so there is nothing for us to store. You stay in full control of your files.

What support do Enterprise plans include?

Enterprise plans include priority support and onboarding, plus help rolling out Amaze across your team.

Does Amaze work without internet access?

Yes. Amaze runs fully offline — you can disconnect from the network entirely (air-gap) and anonymization still works. No outbound connections happen while a document is processed.
